What we need from you
All scans and digital files — nothing needs to be posted or handed over in person.

A clear, flat scan. Photographs of the passport taken on a phone are rejected.

Without spectacles — see the specification below. Studio photograph only.

The full number must be visible. A masked Aadhaar downloaded from the UIDAI site will not do.

The bank statement rules, exactly
- It must be a PDF downloaded directly from your bank's website or mobile app . A scan, a printout, or a print-to-PDF of a printed statement is not accepted.
- Statements emailed to you by the bank are not accepted either. Log in and download it yourself.
- It must cover 8 months . If your bank won't produce that range in one file, two consecutive statements together are fine.
- The name on the statement must match the name in your passport exactly.
- If the file is password-protected, that's fine — send us the password separately, alongside the encrypted file.
- Minimum balance of ₹2,00,000 per person , excluding fixed deposits. If you're sponsoring your spouse or family, the balance must be ₹2,00,000 multiplied by the number of travellers.
Photograph specification
Your e-Visa can be refused purely on the photograph, with the fee lost. If in doubt, send us the file and we'll check it before submission.
- Digital colour photograph, taken within the last 6 months, studio only.
- Plain white background, no border and no frame.
- Full face, front view, eyes open, neutral expression.
- The face should measure roughly 30–35 mm from chin to crown, with a 5–10 mm margin above the head.
- No selfies and no scanned or photographed prints.
- No head covering except where worn for religious reasons.
- Spectacles off. The official guidance permits glasses without glare, but removing them avoids the most common cause of rejection entirely.
